Globalization: An Introduction
The purpose of this course is to introduce students in the Global Health Program to the concept of “globalization” as the movement of goods, people and services across
nation-state borders and other global boundaries. Students will also be introduced to significant debates in globalization, including assessments of the merits and demerits of globalization from the perspective of labour rights, environmental sustainability, and economic development and growth.
